DMS Report Creator is a plug-in reporting solution for your DataMiner System, providing key-functionality for operators to understand how their devices or system behave in varying time periods. This functionality is crucial to layout a well-founded operation strategy, and to identify for example bottlenecks in performance or capacity at certain points in the system, such that return on future investments can be optimized.
The reporting engine, exploiting the distributed nature of a DataMiner System, is capable of performing an automatic analysis in a fraction of time, based on a plethora of data, including alarm records, trend data, real-time data, etc. The result of this sophisticated analysis is typically molded into set of crystal clear graphs, requiring a mere glance from the user to identify issues and bottlenecks.
The product has a two-fold nature. First, it comes as an out of the box solution, offering immediate web-based access to a wide variety of reports and graphs. Therefore, it only takes a matter of minutes, and you can deliver those crystal clear analysis graphs to any of the different targeted users, distributed across your corporation.

The DMS Automation Engine is a unique software application, which allows you to create extensive automation scripts, which then later can be executed on scheduled, event-based or manual bases. The DMS Automation Engine comes with an intuitive GUI, such that the design of scripts is as simple as expressing your wishes.
The automation engine can truly handle every situation, and includes amongst other features the capability to use volatile and non-volatile memory spaces inside the script, mapping of device names, extensive conditions, automatic verification of device availability, ability to send SMS and E-mail messages, use delay timers, create information messages for verification and notification of users, use nested scripts, synchronous and asynchronous run behavior, etc.
The DMS Scheduling Engine is a powerful application, which allows the DMS User to schedule various actions on a calendar bases. New tasks can be scheduled using an intuitive Scheduling Wizard, which provides for every possible scheduling sequence a user can wish for. DMS Scheduling Engine can be used for execution of DMS Automation Scripts, or can for example be used to send out e-mail reports on regular bases to different user groups.
DMS Spectrum Analysis is a powerful plug-in for the DataMiner System (which is also available as a stand-alone application), enabling fully automated 24/7 RF signal monitoring and remote real-time interaction with any spectrum analyzer devices, via standard web browser interface.
Integrate any third party spectrum analyzer. DMS Spectrum Analysis can be interfaced with any third party spectrum analyzer, making the solution deployable in any environment using RF signals. Monitoring satellite signals in hubs or teleports, return paths or forward channels in HFC broadband networks, broadcast signals, etc it is all possible with DMS Spectrum Analysis. You can simply select the spectrum analyzers that make most sense to you, and DataMiner will take care of the rest.
Real-time multi-user interaction. Real-time interaction with spectrum analyzers is possible from any location, with a standard web browser. DataMiner Next Generation Dashboards (DMS-DB) is a brand new, state-of-the-art application enabling operators to more efficiently tap into the vast amount of valuable real-time and historical operational information available in the DataMiner multi-vendor network management environment. DMS-DB allows operators to design user-defined dashboards that consolidate all essential information and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) from the devices, locations, services and business SLA’s available in their operational environment.
DMS-DB’s are accessible via a platform independent web interface, and can be used from engineering up to top level management to get a detailed inside view on the operations via an interactive, visually very appealing and highly intuitive graphical interface. This web interface can be accessed directly, or launched from within the other DataMiner applications, automatically feeding the right information into the selected dashboard layout.
The new application is expected to significantly reduce the time to respond to system issues, and to enable all users at all levels of the corporation to get a better understanding of the operations. With one click operators can now visualize and track key performance indicators in affected system segments, while managers can view comprehensive SLA information, including real-time SLA readings as well as historical SLA performance.
