Bluebell

The BB600R is a 1RU sub rack frame device which works in conjunction with the BB600T. The output optical signal from the BB600T is received by the BB600R. This optical signal is converted to an electrical serial data stream which is then de-multiplexed into twelve digital audio signals. The resultant analogue audio outputs are presented at the front of the unit on twelve XLR connectors.

The XLR connectors provide provide simple and easy connectivity, particularly for outside broadcast or live event applications. An unbalanced RCA phono version is also available.

All Bluebell products are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport. Careful attention has been paid to reduce thermal runaway, eliminating the need for forced air cooling as fan failure and overheating is the most common cause of failure in modern electronic systems.
The receiver modules used in the BB600R are wide band receivers which work with either Multimode or Singlemode wavelengths and CWDM transmitters variants. This allows up to 96 audio channels to be carried on a single fibre. It can also be used to combine complex multiple multistandard video and audio formats unidirectionally or bidirectionally on one single fibre.
The BB600R is contained in a 1RU 19" rack-mounting frame with integral power supply.

The BB600R is available in multimode and singlemode variants to suit any fibre application.

The BB600T is a 1RU sub rack for the transmission of twelve independent balanced line level analogue audio signals over a single fibre optical cable. All inputs are buffered then converted using full 24 bit A/D conversion then multiplexed onto a single optical data stream.

The BC420T is a transmitter for the conversion of SD-SDI into an optical signal with the ability to embed 4 channels of analogue audio. The incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised prior to conversion and transmission down a single optical fibre. All Bluebell cards are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport. Careful attention has been paid to reduce thermal runaway, eliminating the need for forced air cooling as fan failure and overheating is the most common cause of failure in modern electronic systems.

The BC420T is available in multimode, singlemode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit any fibre application.

The BC420T occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack-mounting frame which can hold up to 15 single slot cards. Some BC Series processing cards have dual functionality allowing up to 30 channels of video to be transmitted or received from a single 3RU frame.
Signal and card monitoring is achieved through SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively GP-Output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.

For stand alone applications the BC420T can be housed in an individual rugged enclosure.

The BC420R is a receiver for the conversion of an optical signal into SD-SDI with the ability to de-embed 4 channels of analogue audio. The incoming optical signal is fed to a trans-impedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically reclocked on the outputs.
An internal de-embedder drives the 4 analogue outputs via a 24 bit D/A converter.

The BC710 is a transceiver card for the transmission of two independent duplex audio signals over a single fibre optical cable. The BC710 provides two independent circuits for use in 4-wire comms systems. Each analogue audio input or output is converted via 24 bit converters to maintain maximum resolution for use in professional broadcast audio applications. All Bluebell cards are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport.
