The BC323T is a transmitter module for the conversion of two independent 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI signals into fibre optical cable. Each incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised and reclocked prior to conversion and transmission down a separate single optical fibre.
Each BC323T is housed in a compact robust enclosure and is designed for Outside Broadcast and special events as well as Studios. Power is provided via the PS10/XLR unit supplied with the system. The PS10/XLR has an IEC mains inlet allowing easy adoption into standard equipment bays.
The BC323T has a 4 pin XLR allowing power from a variety of external DC sources in the range 4.5 to 17 V.
The BC323s are extremely compact dual channel fibre optic converters that are perfectly suited to provide interference free transmission and for extending the range of electrical signals, particularly HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals.
Each channel can operate in non-reclocking mode and handles data rates from 50 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s.
The BC323T is available in singlemode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit any fibre application. The BC323T can also be used to interface to any of the standard Bluebell enclosures.
The BC323R is a receiver for the conversion of two independent optical signals into electrical 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI. The incoming optical signal is fed to a trans-impedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically reclocked on the outputs.

The BC360HT is a transmitter for the conversion of HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI signals into fibre optical cable. The incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised prior to conversion and transmission down a single optical fibre. All Bluebell cards are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport. Careful attention has been paid to reduce thermal runaway, eliminating the need for forced air cooling as fan failure and overheating is the most common cause of failure in modern electronic systems.
In non-reclocking mode the unit can operate with data rates from 10 Mb/s to 1.5 GB/s. The BC360HT is available in multimode, singlemode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit any fibre application.
The BC360HT occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack-mounting frame which can hold up to 15 single slot cards. Some BC Series processing cards have dual functionality allowing up to 30 channels of video to be transmitted or received from a single 3RU frame. Signal and card monitoring is achieved through SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively GP-Output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.
For stand alone applications the BC360HT can be housed in an individual rugged enclosure.
The BC362HT is a transmitter card for the conversion of two independent HD-SDI or SD-SDI/ASI signals into fibre optical cable. Each incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised prior to conversion and transmission down a separate single optical fibre. The BC360H is an HD-SDI, SDI and ASI Transceiver. It handles two independent transport streams in opposite directions on two fibres.
Channel A is an auto-sensing HD-SDI optical transmitter and handles all formats of Serial Digital Video. It works with data rates of 10Mb/s up to 1.5Gb/s. The incoming signal is cable equalised and passed to the optical driver. The optical driver is factory configured for 1310nm singlemode, 1550nm singlemode or CWDM performance. There is also an active driven loop through.
Channel B is an HD-SDI optical receiver. The optical input is fed through the PIN/TIA to a limiting amplifier and the signal is autosensed and reclocked according to the relevant signal format. Independent cable drivers drive two BNC connectors on the output.
All Bluebell cards are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport. Careful attention has been paid to reduce thermal runaway, eliminating the need for forced air cooling as fan failure and overheating is the most common cause of
