The TDM-300T is a card for the Time Division Multiplexing of multiple signals onto one singlemode fibre. Four serial digital video signals, (including one HD-SDI signal), can be electrically multiplexed before optical transmission on a single wavelength.
Any embedded audio or other data embedded within the ancillary data space is passed transparently.
The TDM-300 links are ideal for tie-lines and Outside Broadcast applications and particularly suited to the PROBE portable fibre optic enclosures.
An electrical output from each card also allows the TDM signal to be routed through standard 3G-SDI routing and distribution networks within a broadcast facility. By combining multiple or bidirectional TDM-300 links with standard BC Series cards complex optical networks can be realized in the most cost effective and compact footprint.
The TDM-300T occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack-mounting frame allowing up to 15 channels of multiplexed video to be transmitted and received in a single 3RU frame. Signal and card monitoring is achieved through SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively GP-Output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.
CWDM variants are available allowing up to 16 TDM links to be multiplexed together i.e. 16 x HD signals and 48 SD-SDI on one singlemode fibre.
The TDM-300T can also be housed in an individual BC110 rugged enclosure.
The TDM-300R is a card for the Time Division Demultiplexing of multiple signals from one singemode fibre. Four serial digital video signals, (including one HD-SDI signal), can be electrically demultiplexed from the TDM-300T.
Any embedded audio or other data embedded within the ancillary data space is passed transparently.
The TDM-300 links are ideal for tie-lines and Outside Broadcast applications and particularly suited to the PROBE portable fibre optic enclosures.
An electrical input to each card also allows the TDM signal routed via a standard 3G-SDI routing and distribution network to be demultiplexed within a broadcast facility.
This is link selectable between the optical and electrical inputs.

The TDM-300TA is a card for the Time Division Multiplexing of multiple signals onto one singemode fibre. Four serial digital video signals (including one HD-SDI signal), eight line level analogue audio and RS232/422 data can be electrically multiplexed before optical transmission. Embedded audio or other data embedded within the ancillary data space is passed transparently.

By combining multiple or bidirectional TDM-300 links with standard BC Series cards complex optical networks can be realized in the most cost effective and compact footprint.
The TDM-300TA occupies a double slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack-mounting frame allowing multiple channels of multiplexed video (e.g. 7 x HD-SDI, 21 x SD-SDI, 56 x audio and 28 x data signals) to be transmitted in a single 3RU frame. Signal and card monitoring is achieved through SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card. Alternatively GP-Output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.
CWDM variants are available allowing up to 16 TDM links on one single fibre. For stand alone applications the TDM-300TA can be housed in an individual BC120 enclosure.
The TDM-300RA is a card for the Time Division Demultiplexing of multiple signals from one singemode fibre. Four serial digital video signals (including one HD-SDI signal), eight line level analogue audio and RS232/422 data can be electrically demultiplexed from the TDM-300T. The new TDM-700 system is designed to provide a compact, rugged and cost effective optical link between a remote POV (Point of View) Camera and an OB van or Control Room.
The link provides an HD/SD-SDI feed from the camera and a reverse composite video feed for genlock or monitoring plus bi-directional RS232 and RS422 data for full control of the POV.
A 10/100 BaseT Ethernet link is provided to allow control of IP based devices while a GPI path can be used to drive a tally light. All signals are multiplexed and transported over two fibres for easy installation or field deployment.
The TDM-700CE remote camera end is supplied in a compact aluminium enclosure with a choice of connectors to suit both Studio and Outside Broadcast applications.
The TDM-700B base unit fits in a single slot of the standard Bluebell 19” rack frame allowing multiple cameras to feed into a central control room or truck.
Alternatively, the remote camera end can also be supplied in standard BC Series card format for cost effective transport of HD and data in a studio or flyaway environment.
TDM-700 links are available in singlemode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit any fibre application.
The BC-2 is a passive device for the multiplexing or demultiplexing of two optical wavelengths onto or from a single fibre optic cable.
The BC-2 operates with 1310 and 1550 nm wavelengths on singlemode fibres. The BC-2/M works with 850 and 1310 nm wavelengths on multimode networks.
As standard transmitters and receivers are used, overlaying an extra wavelength via WDM, proves to be a very cost effective solution for system designers looking to increase capacity on existing networks.
This can be particularly true in legacy multimode networks.
One WDM module is used to combine the two separate wavelengths while a second at the receive end separates the two signals again.
Bidirectional links also prove very cost effective using this method.
The BC-2 occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack-mounting frame which can hold up to 15 single slot cards. Some BC Series processing cards have dual functionality allowing up to 30 channels of video to be transmitted or received from a single 3RU frame.
For stand alone applications the BC-2 can be housed in an individual rugged enclosure.
The BC-4 is a passive device for the multiplexing or demultiplexing of different optical wavelengths onto or from a singlemode fibre optic cable. Each unit allows up to 4 channels to be combined /separated with a 20 nm wavelength spacing based around the ITU G.694.2 grid specifications. Adding additional BC-4 or BC-8 cards allows the system to transmit a total of 16 independent wavelengths on a single fibre, proving to be a very cost effective solution for system designers working with third party leased fibres.
