Bis zu 100 Multicast-Streams , ob HD, SD in MPEG2/MPEG4 können mit dem VB280 Content Extractor bereits im Headend decodiert und hinsichtlich des Encodings, der Metadaten und der Verschlüsselung analysiert werden und man wird über ein umfangreiches Alarming frühzeitig, vor der Netzeinspeisung auf mögliche Fehlerquellen aufmerksam. Im Verbreitungsweg können die einzelnen Mess-Probes / -Blades, mit den verschiedenen Schnittstellen, wie ASI, IP mit bis zu 10Gb/s-Ethernet an den verschiedensten Stellen des Netzwerks Streamanalysen durchführen und zentral die gewonnenen Messergebisse sammeln.


VB12 BROADCAST PROBE

is the most portable broadcast monitoring and measurement platform available with a unique form factor. Featuring both optical and electrical GigE Ethernet inputs, separate management port and both an ASI input and output, the VB12 is built for real-world usage in demanding enviroments.

 

VB12-RF PORTABL

BROADCAST PROBE covers all the monitoring needs encounterede in hybrid IP and RF networks, be it QAM or VSB. In particular the factory-fitted QAM input front end option offers the service technician a must-have compact and practical tool for fault seeking in any modern cable-TV infrastructure.

VB120 BROADCAST PROBE 

is a realtime monitoring platform with applications in any network where digital video is carried across IP infrastructure. Built specifically to industry needs, this network service tool is ideal for both pure IPTV networks and hybrid networks with IP transport cores such as digital cable and terrestrial networks where it is used as a controller for the various RF interface cards.

VB20 PROBE

is a high-end, portable measuring unit ideal for inspecting broadcast services as found in the distribution core of IPTV networks or hybrid transmission networks with IP transport cores. Up to 260 streams can be monitored in parallel by one VB20. The unit comes with the choice of electrical or optical GigE, separate management port and an ASI input for legacy signals.

VB220 PROBE 

is the high-end monitoring solution with up to 780 streams continuously monitored in a 1RU chassis. With an intelligent backplane facilitating inter module communication and built to carrier-grade specifications, the VB220 is designed for ultra-long lifecycle deployments, providing the industry´s best cost/performance ratio. VB330 PROBE

VB280 CONTENT EXTRACTOR 

offers thumbnail decoding and metadata extraction from up to 100 broadcast multicast streams with either MPEG2 or MPEG4 encoding. The VB280 CONTENT EXTRACTOR is designed to give alarms on any descrambling or decoding failures at the head-end before ingress into the network and for at-a-glance monitoring remotely via any standard web browser. Typically inserted before scrambling insert in the HeadEnd and feed to the VBC server.
